The first autumn trip (1st November weekend). We started at Zvolen, took a bus to Ocova (or maybe Hrochot) and went through Hrochotska dolina (hitchhike of a lorry with two natives and a dog) up to Polana [1458]. On a new 1:50000 map we had found under Kopce something like hut and indeed, there was a comfortable hut. Next day we continued to the north (Vepor [1277], Hrb [1254]), Radek's quote: "Here is nothing, just a mist and shits". From Hrb we went to the east, slept by a cottage "Na Stompe". In the morning we have met the only tourists: the group of old guys. We ended in Podbrezova, moved by hitchhike and train to Banska Bystrica, made some tea at Lubo's workplace and read the mail from Peter Matis, who made a parallel trip in Appalachian mountains.
